FAST 4-WARD for STROKE
For this year’s edition of the World Stroke Day, several hospitals, with the support of the Belgian Stroke Council, have organized different regional hikes, called “FAST 4-ward”. Through the free izi.TRAVEL App, these hikes can be downloaded.
We provide shorter and wheelchair-accessible walks for less mobile people and longer versions.
During the walk, several questions on recognizing stroke, risk factors, treatment and prevention will pop up in the app. Participants will also be asked to portray the FAST-score in an original way. The best contribution will be handpicked by stroke survivor and former big brother participant Steven Spillebeen (aka Spillie) as they win movie tickets or a piece of design clothing, handed over on the 29th of october, World Stroke Day. So strap on those hiking shoes and get going!
